Terms of Use
Last updated 16 July 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Menucurist websites atmenucurist.com andmenucurist.co.uk, including guides, waitlist forms and related early access materials (together, the "Site").
The Site is operated by Menucurist Ltd ("Menucurist", "we", "us" or "our"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
OurPrivacy Policyexplains how we handle personal data.
Who we are
Menucurist Ltd provides (and is developing) personalised digital menu tools for hospitality venues. The public Site currently focuses on product information and an early access waitlist. Additional product terms may apply when you enter into a paid or contracted service with us.
Using the Site
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, our systems, or other users' data.
- Misuse forms (including the waitlist) by submitting false information, spam, or malware.
- Scrape, harvest or systematically extract content from the Site in a way that harms our service or breaches applicable law, except as permitted by law (for example ordinary search engine indexing of public pages).
- Use the Site in any way that is fraudulent, harmful, or infringes the rights of others.
Early access waitlist
Joining the waitlist expresses interest in Menucurist and, where offered, may include receiving a free checklist or similar materials and occasional product updates. Waitlist membership does not guarantee onboarding, pricing, features or availability. We may prioritise venues, change the programme, or close the waitlist at our discretion.
Information on the Site
Content on the Site (including guides about allergens, FSA guidance and Owen's Law) is for general information only. It is not legal, regulatory or food-safety advice. Always check primary sources and take professional advice where needed.
If you use Menucurist (including any early access or future product features), you remain fully responsible for the accuracy of allergen and ingredient information you supply. Menucurist turns that information into a personalised, filterable digital menu for guests. We do not verify, check or guarantee that your data is correct or complete. Guests should still tell staff about allergies before ordering, and venues must follow applicable law and official guidance.
Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the Site and its content (including text, branding, illustrations and layout) are owned by Menucurist Ltd or our licensors. You may view and temporarily download pages for personal or internal business evaluation. You must not copy, modify, distribute or commercially exploit Site content without our prior written permission, except where UK law expressly allows it.
Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites (for example FSA or campaign pages). We are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Links do not imply endorsement.
Disclaimer
The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that content will always be complete or current.
Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).
Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of business, or loss of data arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability arising from use of the Site is limited to £100, or the amount you paid us for Site access in the twelve months before the claim (if any), whichever is higher.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Menucurist Ltd against reasonable claims, losses and costs arising from your misuse of the Site or breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
Changes
We may update the Site and these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change when we revise the Terms. If you continue to use the Site after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK you may also bring proceedings in your local courts where the law allows.
